You would think that as December rolls along taking cover under an umbrella would be the least of our concerns. Well, once again, Mother Nature has taken the path less desirable and gifted us sun-worshipers two weeks of miserable weather. I was reduced to pulling on a pair of beloved jeans the other morning to act as a supplement to my usual blouse and sunnies ensemble of late. As surreal as this current turn of tropics is, I could not help but focus on the wet and wild persona of summer with these inspiring images. The baffling elements have forbidden the necessities of summer ranging from late afternoon walks, days spent by the pool, endless summer nights and of course the ability to waltz around in bikinis without those pesky climatic restrictions. So, while we may be temporarily unable to enjoy these simple indulgences at least reminisce on the days when rain was mystical and romantic.
