Butter and Bunnies

You will need:
1 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups of sugar
3 eggs
3 cups of sifted flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon milk
2 teaspoons of vanilla

How to make Easter cookies:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and beat well.
Sift the dry ingredients and add them to the creamed mixture.
Add the milk and the vanilla and chill the dough for an hour.
Roll the dough out.

Dip a rabbit, egg or any easter shaped cookie cutter into flour and cut the cookies.
Place them on a greased baking sheet, and bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees celcius.
Once completely cooled, ice your cute Easter cookies with beautiful pastel colours.

Chirpy Chicks

I have been utterly obsessed with these adorable easter looks ever since visiting the Chocolate Boutique earlier this week. Although we live in the southern hemisphere and cannot truly claim easter during our spring, its far more fun to get fully behind the excitement of the season and the pastel palates are too cute to resist! From delectable chocolate sweets, to hanging homemade eggs from spray painted branches in a vintage vase, Easter is about eggs, whatever shape or form. So, gather your loved ones and indulge this easter with both edible and decorative goodies.
